I hope you are doing well. I am emailing on behalf of the Moose Hide Campaign. First, a little background on the Moose Hide Campaign. The Moose Hide Campaign is a grassroots movement of Indigenous and non-Indigenous men and boys working together to end violence towards women and children. On Moose Hide Campaign Day, supporters from classrooms and schools around the country, from universities and community organizations, from federal and provincial governments, come together each year to recommit to their pledges to take action to end violence. This year’s event will take place on Feb.10, 2022 and will be livestreamed across Canada.
I have attached our K-12 how to guide to help give you a better understanding of what we do and how teachers can get involved. I will also include a link to our registration page for Moose Hide Campaign Day Feb 10, 2022, as well as a link to our learning platform which includes further classroom resources.
