ETFO SERVES NOTICE TO BARGAIN
JUNE 13, 2022
This morning, ETFO served notice to bargain on the Ontario Public School Boards’ Association (OPSBA), the Ontario Catholic School Trustees’ Association (OCSTA) and the government. Notice to bargain advises them of ETFO’s intention to renegotiate Teacher, Occasional Teacher, Designated Early Childhood Educator, Educational Support Personnel, Professional Support Personnel and other ETFO bargaining unit collective agreements that will be expiring as of August 31, 2022.
Under the School Boards Collective Bargaining Act, central table partners must now meet within 15 days, or a mutually agreed-upon time, to start discussions that will determine the list of issues to be negotiated at ETFO’s Teacher/Occasional Teacher and Education Worker Central Tables. Members will be apprised of these meeting dates when they are confirmed.
Check ETFO’s CB Website for more information about notice to bargain.
