ETFO produced an e-newsletter delivered on October 13, 2026. ETFO hopes these are being delivered to members’ personal email addresses, rather than their work email addresses. One of the highlights was a reminder that there is going to be a province-wide central strike vote between the dates of November 9 and 18. The newsletter summarizes what a “yes” vote means.
There is also going to be telephone All-Member Virtual Town Halls on November 9 & 10. These are for members, and there will be important bargaining details about the central strike votes. Sessions will be held on both dates from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. ET and are open to all ETFO teacher, occasional teacher, and education worker members. Members must register in advance for one of the town halls. Details on how you can register will be sent to you in late October from our town hall meeting provider.
Watch for an email from ETFO Strike Vote (No-reply@mail.assembly-voting.com). You will need your ETFO member identification number to register.
