April 6th Rally for Education

On April 6 help defend public education
Rally for Education, April 6 at noon, Queen's Park
On April 6, parents, students, families, educators and allies will rally at Queen’s Park to send a strong message to the Conservative government that public education needs investment, not cuts.
Along with a growing list of labour, community and parent groups, we will rally to defend high-quality public education in Ontario with an important united message to demand:
  • smaller classes;
  • that the current Full-Day Kindergarten model with both a teacher and a DECE continues;
  • appropriate support for students with special needs; and
  • further investment in public education.

Wear Red for Ed
Educators and allies are asked to wear Red for Ed every Friday to bring attention to the damaging cuts to public education proposed by the Conservative government and to show solidarity with one another and our communities.
Please wear Red for Ed this Friday and spread the word!

Over the next five weeks stewards in all ETFO work sites will be holding member meetings. Please plan on attending to learn how we can work together to protect quality public education.
